VNA receives
deficiency-free survey
The Visiting Nurse Association of Utica and Oneida County Inc., an affiliate of the Mohawk Valley Network, has announced that it has received a deficiency-free survey from the New York State Department of Health. VNA is a Medicare Certified Home Health Care Agency and provides a Long Term Home Health Care Program.
Achieving this level of excellence reflects the consistency and commitment by VNA and its employees to their patients, said Keith Fenstemacher, President/ CEO, Mohawk Valley Network, Inc.
Margaret Warden, President/CEO of the VNA, said she is proud of her staff, who are dedicated to providing high quality, individualized health care, delivered in a coordinated manner designed to maximize health, independence, dignity and comfort in the home.
From our therapists to our home health aides, each one works hard to ensure that every patient receives the time and care they need and deserve, she said.
VNA has served the Mohawk Valley since 1915, offering a full array of traditional and high-tech home health services, including in-home nursing, home health aides, physical, occupational and speech therapies, medical social workers, dietitians and respiratory therapists.
The VNA employs 170 full and part-time staff members and have a daily census of more than 700 patients throughout the Mohawk Valley. It provides services in Utica, Rome, Clinton, Whitesboro and throughout Oneida County.
